A Growing List of Resources

Browse through to find some ways you could help fight this issue affecting our community, city, and country. It's not all about monetary contributions, there's loads of ways to get involved. While many of these resources are amazing causes to support, they aren't directly associated with The White Squirrel Brigade community. You'll be redirected to their own sites.
1. Toronto Tiny Shelters

Khaleel Seivwright is a carpenter who has raised money to rent a garage and buy materials for building durable insulated tiny shelters for people across Toronto who might be living outside this winter.

2. Fred Victor Centre

A social service charitable organization that fosters long-lasting and positive change in the lives of homeless and low-income people living across Toronto.

3. Encampment Support Network

We need to take care of each other. Donate & volunteer to support neighbours living in tents. DECOMMODIFY HOUSING

4. New Circles Community Services

Not-for-profit, grass-roots agency that builds strong and caring communities by providing basic necessities to those living in poverty.

5. Yonge Street Mission

A vibrant, local development agency helping people move up and out of poverty since 1896. Join the movement via #TransformTorontoTogether

6. The Scott Mission

We are a Christian, non-denominational, faith-based street mission in downtown Toronto, serving the poor and needy of our city.

7. Haven on the Queensway

We offer services that lessens the effects of poverty and homelessness, addiction and recovery, distributing food and clothing as well as providing support services for women, children, and seniors.

8. Oasis Clothing Bank

We are accepting donations at The Oasis Donation Center located at 60 Carnforth Road or any of our Oasis Clothing Drop Off locations across the city.

9. Jessie’s Centre Toronto

Our vision is to enhance lifelong positive outcomes for pregnant young women and young parents.

10. St. Andrews Church

St. Andrew’s Church began to open its doors for people on the streets of Toronto, offering a place for them to come in out of the cold and have a good meal.

11. Horizons for Youth

An organization that provides at-risk and homeless youth with holistic support, life-changing programs, and a home for as long as they need.

12. Evangel Hall Mission

An inner-city mission whose purpose is to build community with poor, homeless and socially isolated people in Toronto.

13. Society of Saint Vincent De Paul

A lay Catholic organization whose mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ through the poor with love, respect, justice and joy.
